Cubed, Art on the Street by Jesse VanHorne

Art on the Street

The 2018 Art on the Street sculptures line Public Road in Old Town Lafayette. Take a stroll or view the website to enjoy the sculptures.
Artist: Jesse Van Horne
Wheat Ridge, Colorado
Location: 103 S. Iowa St.
Medium: Baltic Birch plywood, Plexi-glass, steel
Price: $6,500.00
Artist Statement:  Cubed is about space, solid and void. It is an exploration of the possibilities of the space of a cube, and of the compilation or arrangement of like pieces to form a coherent whole. Cubed is also about channeling or harnessing energy and about creating an element of mystery for the viewer. However, I myself did not finish the piece, but left the final touches for Mother Nature. The year that Cubed spends outside, exposed to the elements will add the true finish to the piece, and with each passing day the piece will become more interesting, more , Facebook: SKLFLWRDZN
