9/14-9/27 - Senior Artist Showcase
Artists 55 and older, will display their artwork at the Lafayette Senior Center for community members to enjoy. The public is invited to cast ballots on the art pieces during our open hours. The Senior Center will be open until 6pm on Thursday September 20th and 27th for public viewing and voting. For additional information, please call 303-661-1492.
9/17-9/18 - Fall Prevention Week 2:00-4:00pm Monday & Tuesday
Reduce your risk by taking advantage of these Fall Prevention services and experiential activities. Snacks and drinks provided. No registration required. Prizes and giveaways.
9/27-11/15 - Matter of Balance 1:00-3:00pm Thursday
Matter of Balance is an eight-week program designed to help you reduce your fear of falling and increase your physical activity. This program sponsored by Boulder County Area Agency on Aging. Please call 303-441-3599 to register. No charge to Boulder County residents 60 and over and their caregivers.

The assembled puzzle titled "This Is Aging in Lafayette" will be on display at the Lafayette Senior Center at 103 S. Iowa Ave.

Ask questions, voice your concerns about public safety, and learn about the mission and programs offered by the DA's office with a representative for Michael Dougherty, new District Attorney in Boulder County.
9/25 - Dementia Support Group for Adult Children 6:00-7:30pm Tuesday
This free drop-in programs is for adult children who have parents with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia. For more information, contact the Alzheimer's Association 800-272-3900. Location: Lafayette Public Library, 775 W. Baseline Rd.
