Are you ready for some grown-up decor? It's time to take down those posters and put up original art! Liven up that blank wall with a stunning photograph, painting or print. Fill in that empty space on your patio with ceramics or sculpture. Our panel of experts will help you get started. Register online.
Presented in collaboration with the Lafayette Arts & Cultural Resources Department. Funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

David Dadone

The Panel

David Dadone has been the Executive Director of Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMoCA) since 2010. During his tenure the organization has been recognized by the Denver Foundation for providing “unique, cutting-edge and multidisciplinary contemporary art to the community and leadership in community collaboration.”

Marita McDonough


Marita McDonough is co-owner of pARTiculars Art Gallery and Teaching Studio in downtown Lafayette (right down the block from The Collective). She's been working in co-operative and privately owned galleries for thirty years and has experience as an art museum docent. Marita also teaches calligraphy classes at pARTiculars

Alan Rudy is an avid art collector and member of BCAA's Board of Directors. He has served as chair of the Advisory board for the University of Colorado Art Museum and on the City of Boulder's Art Commission, among other arts related boards. When living in Houston, he chaired a task force appointed by the Mayor to produce a plan for the arts for the City.

Windows into Lafayette History Viva Arts First Friday at the Collective 8/3 6-8PM

Windows Into Lafayette History: You be the star in an interactive artistic journey through Lafayette history where every participant is invited to go back in time and imagine themselves as part of Lafayette's past. Interactive exhibits will include: 'What Lafayette Historical Figure Are You?' quiz, photo exhibits where participants can put themselves in Lafayette's past, and a virtual scavenger hunt in Downtown Lafayette to win prizes. Art Night Out has raised $69,000

Sign up to volunteer at Art Night Out!

We are looking for volunteers for Friday August 10;  Art Night Out with Savage Hearts.  We need 100 Volunteers per night to make it work!
Volunteers needed 2 pm – 11 pm. Earn a drink ticket with each 1.5 hour shift.
Set up crew A  2:00 - 3:30pm
Set up crew B  3:30 – 5:00pm
Shift #1 5:00 – 6:30 pm
Shift #2 6:30 – 8:00 pm
Shift #3 8:00 - 9:30 pm
Clean-up crew 9:15 – 10:45 pm
