Wellness Classes

Latin Dance 9:15-10:15 am every Thursday

This Latin-Inspired fitness class is a great, unique and effective approach to exercise.  Drop-in fee $4 or SilverSneakers membership.

Ageless Grace 10:00-10:30am every Wednesday
Learn and enjoy the 21 movement tools that stimulate all five functional areas of the brain.  Anti-aging exercises almost anyone can do.

Do you like to play Pinochle, Bridge or Shanghai Rummy?  Our card groups are currently looking for players.  Interested?  Just stop by and join the game.

Join Martin Ogle for a fascinating talk about birdwatching in Lafayette.  FREE.  Registration deadline:  March 9. 

3/16 - St. Patrick's Day  11:30am-1:30pm
We will provide corned beef, cabbage and potatoes; you bring your favorite green salads, sides and desserts.  Registration deadline is:  March 9.

New and Improved Wednesday transportation loop.
We pick up and drop off at Affinity, Josephine Commons, Villa West, Boulder Ridge and Abordale Acres and go to Vitamin Cottage, Sprouts, King Soopers, Walmart, the Library or the Bob  L. Burger Recreation Center.

3/15 - Sisters of Courage - Erie 6:45-8:15pm

Learn how the Harbison Ranch became the west entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park.  Registration for transportation deadline is March 8.  Presentation is at the Erie Public Library, 400 Powers St. 

3/20 - The Roost - Longmont 10:45am-2:15pm

This restaurant uses only the finest, freshest ingredients and everything is supplied from local farmers.  Registration deadline is March 13.

3/22 - Premier Travel Extended Travel Presentation

Head to New Orleans to visit the French Quarter and enjoy the fabulous food.  Learn more about this trip at this presentation. Registration deadline:  March 16.

4/9-4/12 - Deadwood Gaming Trip - South Dakota

There will be qualified AARP volunteers available at the Lafayette LIbrary to help prepare and electronically file taxes by appointment at no charge.  Appointments are available until April 11 on Wednesdays from 10:00am-4:30pm.  Make appointments online at or call 303-661-1163 or 303-665-5200 (option 2).

3/6 - Conversation Project 2:00-3:30pm
Talk life!  This session can help you clarify your values and prepare to talk to your family about end of life wishes.  FREE!  Registration deadline:  March 6.
