Sculptors: Art on the Street 2018

Art on the Street 2018 Sculpture artists wanted! Lafayette Cultural Resources is calling for sculpture submissions for the 2018 Art on the Street Sculpture Walk. Artists' submissions are due December 1, 2017.  This program provides artists nationwide the opportunity to showcase their work in this creative, diverse and eclectic community. Submit work at
Art on the Street is the largest sculpture on loan program in Boulder County. 20 works will be selected; artists will each receive a $750 honorarium for a one installation, with additional $100 for artists who live more than 250 miles away.  Sculpture must be available for one year, with installation the first week of April 2017. All sculptures are for sale in this year long, outdoor art display. Artworks on are eligible for the $1000 Jean Mellblom Award or the $250 People’s Choice Award. Women’s Art, A Persistent Path to Identity - Call for Entry 

Call for Women Artists!  The “Women’s Art, A Persistent Path to Identity” exhibition is looking for Boulder County women artists to submit 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional works for exhibition. Accepted works will be on display at The Collective Community Arts Center from February 12 through March 24, 2018. All artwork must be submitted by December 20, 2017 through, .
The mission of this show is to promote local and emerging Boulder County women artists, to encourage them to share their original work with the community and to celebrate the persistence of art making as it contributes to the artist’s identity. Artists may submit up to 3 works for the show. All mediums will be considered for the competition.  Entrants must live or work in Boulder County and be 18 years of age or older to apply.
