Latin Dance - 1:15-2:15pm Mondays
This Latin inspired fitness class is a great, unique and effective approach to exercise. Drop-in fee $4, 20 punch card for $64 or SilverSneakers membership.
7/5-7/26 - Tai Chi 11:00am-12:00pm Thursdays
Tai Chi is exercise that is easy and gentle and develops body awareness that can help seniors to keep their balance.
6/7-9/27 - Farmer's Market - 4:00-8:00pm
We look forward to sharing East Simpson Street with the Farmer's Market this summer and will keep our doors open a bit later on Thursday evenings so the Market visitors can stop in to say "hello" and see everything that Lafayette Senior Services has to offer.
6/8-8/31 - Community Summer Project
Older adults are an active, vibrant part of life in Lafayette. Help us demonstrate this by designing a puzzle piece that shows what "Aging in Lafayette" means to you. Blank puzzle pieces are available for pick up at the Lafayette Senior Center, Art Nite Out and Bob L. Burger Recreation Center. Submissions should be returned to the Lafayette Senior Center or Bob L. Burger Recreation Center by August 31 to be assembled for display.

Amsterdam Holland Spring River Tour
Come learn more about this spring river cruise to the Netherlands where we will enjoy two nights in the quaint village of Valkenburg before boarding your 7 night River Boat Cruise aboard the Amadeus Star. Registration deadline: July 3.
7/21 - Lavender Festival-Littleton 8:00am-2:00pm
Learn the many uses of Lavender while attending the festival at Chatfield Farms. Tour the Farms for free and experience the gorgeous backdrop of more than 800 blooming lavender plants. Bring money to enjoy a variety of food and drink vendors and purchase lavender made products. Registration deadline: July 13.
8/2 - Castles of Colorado North-Sedalia 8:00am-4:00pm
Join us as we walk the halls of some imperial residences; structures like the Cherokee Castle and the Springer Castle. The tour includes a break for lunch, so bring some money. Registration deadline: July 20.
7/17 - Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters 2:00-3:30pm
Learn the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer's disease, hear from people who have the disease, and find out how to recognize the signs in yourself and others. FREE - Registration required through Senior Services. Please call 303-661-1492. Location: Lafayette Library, 775 W. Baseline Rd.
7/24 - Dementia Caregiver Support Group 6:00-7:30pm
The Dementia Caregiver Support Group is a safe place to receive support for the difficult journey of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease. This group meets at the Lafayette Public Library, 775 W. Baseline Rd. on the 4th Tuesday of the month. No registration required.
