[ARCHIVED] Mosquito Control Applications

Mosquito Control

Vector Disease Control International (VDCI) will be conducting mosquito control applications at:

Blue Heron Trail Thursday, July 16 between 10am-2pm

Cross Ridge Neighborhood Thursday, July 16 at dusk/sunset

Rothman Open Space Thursday, July 16 at dusk/sunset

Waneka Lake Thursday, July 16 after 10pm

These will take place weather permitting. To report mosquito problems or concerns please call VDCI at 888-774-2161 or visit www.vdci.net/colorado.  The City of Lafayette contracts with VDCI to conduct surveillance of adult mosquito populations and to provide limited adult mosquito control when pre-determined disease and annoyance thresholds have been surpassed.  The goal is to provide the greatest level of pest control and disease vector mosquito populations while maintaining a balanced use of cultural, biological, and least-toxic chemical procedures that are environmentally compatible and economically feasible.
