[ARCHIVED] Street crack seal project to begin July 29

Street Maintenance Public Works Construction Road

PLM Asphalt and Concrete will be performing crack sealing work on the streets in several areas of the City beginning Wednesday, July 29.  Streets will not be closed to through traffic during crack seal work. On-street parking is prohibited and no parking signs will be set a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the work.  When no parking signs are present on the street, please remove vehicles during the hours of 7am-5pm until work is completed and signs are removed.  

 

Steps used for crack sealing:

Step 1:  Clean cracks of all vegetation, loose, and foreign matter by means of compressed air.

Step 2:  Seal cracks with a hot rubberized asphalt or concrete crack sealant. 

Step 3:  After step 2 is complete, the street will be reopen to full operation and parking.
