[ARCHIVED] Fireworks

No Fireworks Allowed in Lafayette

As we approach the 4th of July holiday, we would like to remind you that all fireworks are illegal in Lafayette. Use of fireworks in Lafayette is against municipal code and can result in citation and fine. Please be courteous to your neighbors and pets.  You can report use of fireworks to the Lafayette Police Department at 303-441-4444. Please contact us at the time you hear or witness use of fireworks to help us locate the activity timely.  Although we can’t enjoy our traditional July 4th community events this year due to the COVID19 crisis, we sincerely hope you can enjoy the holiday in small groups with your friends and family!  Please remember social distancing and face coverings are still encouraged as you gather with others.  Wishing you a safe and happy 4th!
