City street maintenance to begin June 15

Street Maintenance Public Works Construction Road

Starting the week of June 15, 2020, the Lafayette Public Works Department will be starting the annual street maintenance project. Work is anticipated to continue for approximately two months, but may be adjusted due to weather or crew availability.

For areas where street parking may be impacted, the project contractor will place "No Parking" signs in advance of the work. Please do not park in these areas while the signs are in place. Once the work is complete in a particular area, the signs will be removed.

Once construction starts in an area where "No Parking" signs have been placed in advance of the work, the contractor and the City will attempt to contact individuals who are parked in these areas prior to the start of construction.  Any vehicles that are not moved are subject to towing and impounding at the owner’s expense.

If you have any questions, please contact Shane Tyre, Construction Coordinator at 303-661-1284, or shane.tyre@cityoflafayette.com.
