[ARCHIVED] Proclamation honoring the Class of 2020

Congratulations 2020 Graduates

Lafayette City Council has released a proclamation recognizing the achievement of all graduating members of the Class of 2020.

The proclamation acknowledges the resilience and strength of 2020 graduates as they worked through an unprecedented end of the school year. The Coronavirus Pandemic interrupted the 2019-2020 school year but more so, 2020 graduates were unable to partake in many time honored traditions such as prom, club activities, graduation ceremonies, and more. Lafayette’s seniors have overcome these disappointments, and more, on their way to commencement, and have demonstrated their commitment to education.

Congratulations to the graduating seniors from Centaurus High School, Dawson School, Justice Charter High School, and Peak to Peak Charter High School in Lafayette. Best wishes on this important milestone in your lives Class of 2020. The City of Lafayette and Lafayette City Council are very proud of you!
