[ARCHIVED] New quarter pipe feature coming to celebrate 10 years at the Lafayette Skate Park

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Lafayette Skate Park, a new feature has been planned for the community!  The Recreation Department’s long-time, nationally-renowned partner and skate park designer, Team Pain, has been working on the design of a new quarter pipe feature for installation at the park.

We’re pleased to have the Colorado-based Team Pain crew on-site to complete this installation, providing work for local community members. The new amenity is expected to be completed in April, weather dependent, and is funded by money from the Colorado Lottery.

We hope this project will give Lafayette youth and the local skate community something to look forward to during this challenging time!
