[ARCHIVED] Lafayette Open Space is looking for a few good volunteers

Be part of a young (4-year-old), growing program that’s bringing appreciation and enjoyment of Open Space to Lafayette citizens! We need people to help with:

  • Trailhead education stations on Coal Creek (including opportunities to lead walks – NEW!)
  • “Lafayette birds!” activities including monthly bird-watching sessions at Greenlee Wildlife Preserve, bird walks, family and youth activities, and more.
  • Publicity, promotion and organization of the above and other Open Space activities
  • Many opportunities surrounding the soon-to-be-installed mini education station near Waneka Lake. Help staff the station / create displays and activities to be used there / programming / carpentry skills to add displays and other features! NEW!)

A volunteer info session / social will be held on Wednesday, February 12 at 5:30 p.m. at The Peaks Bar and Grille at the Indian Peaks Golf Course in Lafayette, 2300 Indian Peaks Trail, Lafayette, CO.  To RSVP or to find out more, contact Martin Ogle at 720-612-0506 or Martin@EntrepreneurialEarth.com
