Active Minds Lecture Series: Join us again in August!

Active Minds 2019 Adult Lecture Series

Adults - Join us on Wednesday, August 14 at 6:30 pm at the Lafayette Library for the third of four seminars presented by Active Minds on subjects of high interest. On August 14, we'll explore the story of the American Cowboy. We will peel back the mythology and explain how the origins of the Cowboy lie south of the border in the Spanish colonies in the Americas. We’ll trace the development of the American Cowboy and its influence upon this part of the country as well as tell a good 'ol Cowboy story or two.

About the Active Minds Lecture Series

Lafayette Public Library and Lafayette Senior Services are pleased to co-sponsor a 2019 adult lecture series in partnership with Active Minds, a Colorado organization dedicated to creating engaging programs for adults featuring discussions of contemporary global issues, historical themes, and other matters of importance. This year we have covered renewable energy, as well as the complexities of Brexit.

Final 2019 Dates (stay tuned for more details on topic): Wednesday, November 13, 6:30 pm

Visit Active Minds to learn more about all their mission and programs across the area in 2019.
