Identidad Exhibit features Jerry Rael, Arturo Garcia and Joaquin Gonzales runs May 2 - June 22

The exhibit, Identidad/Identity, which opens for viewing on Wednesday, May 1, explores Latino roots in art.  This exhibit features Jerry Rael, Arturo Garcia and Joaquin Gonzales.The vibrant paintings explore themes of cultural heritage, Aztec and native roots, women of strength, heroes and icons of the Latino culture as well as the personal stories and journeys of the artists. The exhibit runs through June 23.

The community is invited to the artists reception on Friday May 3, 5 - 7 pm.  As part of The Collective's First Friday Series - Viva Arts: Identidad Opening Reception, The first Friday cultural series continues with an Artists Reception for the Identidad/Identity Exhibit - exploring Latino roots in art. Meet local artists Jerry Rael, Arturo Garcia, and Joaquin Gonzales. Enjoy live music, light snacks, and wine for purchase.
