City Council seeking input for City Administrator recruitment

After 21 years of service to the Lafayette community, City Administrator Gary Klaphake has announced his retirement effective December 31, 2018. City Council has retained The Novak Consulting Group to perform an executive search for Mr. Klaphake’s replacement.

Lafayette residents are invited to provide the Mayor and City Council with input to take into consideration when hiring the next the City Administrator. Responses will be confidential and comments will not be edited. This initial input will be accepted through August 22, 2018, and utilized by City Council during the candidate deliberation process.  Follow the link below to provide your input regarding important traits and general advice. Comments will be accepted through August 22, 2018.

Additional opportunity will be available during the hiring process for the public to interact with and provide input on final candidates.
