Book Donation Guidelines

  1. Our goal is to offer books for sale that people will want to buy, so we can only accept fiction and non-fiction paperback and hardback books in good condition!
Please remember that all profits from our book sales are used to support library programs, including the Summer Reading Program.

With that in mind, we are NOT able to accept the following:
    • anything that is spiral bound or in a loose-leaf binder
    • books that are dirty, torn, or have missing covers
    • encyclopedias, singly or in sets
    • magazines
    • teaching or homeschooling materials
    • science fiction
    • textbooks
    • user guides or manuals of any kind, i.e. automobile, software, test preparation, etc.
What can you do with books we don’t take?
    • Paperback books can be recycled!
    • Hardback books can be taken to CHaRM Center for Hard to Recycle Materials, 6400 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder
    • ARC will pick up all your boxed books at your home, and there is no limit on the number of boxes they will take. Call them at 303-666-8060.
