The single-story building is proposed to be approximately 29,000 square feet on a 2.8 acre lot. Other ancillary uses would be included for a small retail shop and snack shack. The application includes a minor subdivision to create the 2.8 acre lot. The property is zoned M1 (Industrial) and a Commercial Recreational Facility requires a Special Use Review.
A public hearing was held for a Special Use Review, Minor Subdivision and Site Plan/Architectural Review at the May 30, 2019, Planning Commission meeting. The Commission recommended approval of the project with conditions. The City Council review the project at public hearing on March 17, 2020.
