Background: The Planning Commission approved the preliminary plan for the Lafayette Promenade shopping center in June 2016. The preliminary plan included Lafayette Promenade Architectural Design Guidelines to apply to future lot and building development within the subdivision.
This plan includes the development of a 21,930 square foot retail commercial use primarily focusing on the sale of farm/ranch equipment and maintenance, animal feed and lawn and garden equipment. The plan also includes outdoor display of merchandise within a fenced outdoor display area on the south side of the building, a trailer display area on the north side of the building, and an outdoor display area near the building entrance
The Planning Commission recommended approval with conditions for the Site Plan/Architectural review at the July 26, 2016 public hearing. City Council approved the Final Plan at the May 2, 2017 public hearing.
