This project has been recently renamed as the Silo Subdivision. It has been formerly referred to as the Weems Property or Hearteye Subdivision.
This 80 acre parcel located on the south side of Arapahoe Road approximately ¼ mile west of Highway 287 is proposed to be developed with approximately 453 single-family and multi-family dwelling units and less than 10,000 square feet of small scale neighborhood commercial uses primarily associated with the proposed CSA farm.
The project sketch plan and rezoning was approved in December 2015.
The annexation application was approved in May 2016.
The Silo Preliminary Plan was approved by the Planning Commission in November 2016.
The Silo final plans were approved by City Council on October 17, 2017.
Update: The deadline for the recording of the final plan for Silo Subdivision was extended by City Council to April 30, 2019. Another request for an extension was reviewed by City Council and approved on First Reading on April 2, 2019. Second Reading of O-19-12 is scheduled for the April 16, 2019 City Council meeting. Approval of O-19-12 would extend the deadline for recording of the Silo Subdivision Final Plan and deadlines associated with approval of the Silo Subdivision Final Plan to July 31, 2019. The reason for the delay involves finalizing ditch-related agreements and engineering for the project.
