Historic Preservation Board
Overview
The Lafayette Historic Preservation Board advises the City Council in matters relating to historically significant structures and properties in the community. The board organizes walking tours, promotes local local history, and develops architectural surveys. The seven members are appointed by the City Council for four-year terms.

General:  The Board meets on the first Monday of each month, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall.  The Board reviews and refers nominations for historic landmark designation to the City Council and promotes historic preservation through a variety of programs.
