Writing Buddies

Program Overview

The Writing Buddies program is tailored to rising 4th through 6th graders.

The Big Buddies lead the group through a series of creative writing activities, including brainstorming, pre-writing, and editing, in preparation for their major project.

The Little Buddies select the genres they are most interested in focusing on, such as poetry, fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels, and other genres. Each Big Buddy works with the same small group of students each week.
