The Lafayette Cultural Arts Commission (LCAC) is full.  Please check back for openings.

LCAC is a citizen committee dedicated to developing, promoting, nurturing, and celebrating arts opportunities in Lafayette. 

Members are responsible for:
  • establishing goals and objectives for arts and cultural programs
  • establishing budgets
  • marketing
  • promotion 
Commission members are directly involved in supporting programs including:
  • Art Night Out
  • local art shows
  • Arts in Education Grants
  • Arts in the Community Grants 
  • bringing special programming to the community

Member Requirements of LCAC:
  • Appreciate and value the important roll of arts and culture in a community
  • At least one year of Lafayette residency
  • Be registered to vote in Lafayette
  • Be able to attend meetings the fourth Tuesday at each month at 7 pm at the Lafayette Public Library.
  • Additional time may be required occasionally, based on current projects and programs
