Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations
In October 2013 the City of Lafayette completed the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at City Hall and the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center. The centralized locations will allow local EV drivers to charge-up and also encourages regional drivers to visit Lafayette knowing they have access to a charging station for the drive home. These installations complement the existing EV station installed at the Lafayette Public Library in 2012.

All three stations are provided to the public free of charge. Eighty percent of the project cost was paid for by the Charge Ahead Colorado grant, while the remaining twenty percent was funded by the Lafayette Energy Sustainability Advisory Committee (LESAC).
