The Lafayette Green Expedition
2013 Green Expedition Winner Announced!

Pam Simpson of Lafayette won an iPad mini and discovered how GREEN the City of Lafayette is by participating in the 2013 Green Expedition.

“I really had fun,” said Pam, “and the Green Expedition encouraged me to get out and explore Lafayette. By playing, I learned there are more electric vehicles in our city than I realized and that the City has installed EV charging stations in multiple locations.”

The Lafayette Green Expedition is an activity for Lafayette residents to learn more about Lafayette’s notable sustainable projects. Download a card  or pick one up at the Lafayette Public Library.

How to Participate:
  1. When you are at one of the featured sites identified on the Lafayette Green Expedition Card, discover the answers to the questions for that location.

  2. For the sites that are not a destination, visit the Environmental Sustainability page which contains answers to the other questions. As you review the information on this page, you will uncover the answers.

  3. Drop your completed Green Expedition Card in the box at the Lafayette Library's Energy Corner (located to the right as you enter the building), between September 1 and September 30, 2013.

    The winner will be drawn randomly from all completed cards on
    October 5, 2013 and will be notified by email. You must be a Lafayette resident to win.
