Coal Creek Corridor is a favorite location for outdoor recreationalists, commuters and ecology enthusiasts.
Large cottonwood trees line the banks of Coal Creek, forming a narrow forested strip where raptors perch and nest. Migrating ducks, great blue heron, redwing blackbirds and numerous other birds can been observed in the area.
Four miles of the Coal Creek Regional Trail run through this open space. There is a Port-aPotty at the trailhead located at 1881 Public Road. |
