Keep recycling an amenity the city provides in community parks by using the Eco-Cycle bins with blue lids ONLY for acceptable recyclables such as glass, aluminum, paper, cardboard, and plastic bottles. Please, no trash. Por favor, no basura.

Free swimming begains at 12 noon.		Kids Public Safety Day
Enjoy a fun filled day with the Lafayette Police and Fire Departments! This event features police and fire equipment, fire trucks, police cars, police motorcycles, demonstrations by both departments, free hotdugs, free swimming and numerous community booths. Every year the event also offers activities such as bicycle rodeos, bicycle safety checks, car seat safety checks or child ID kids. Often other neighboring police departments attend and display their vehicles or equipment as well. Don't forget your suits!
