    The City Service Center will accept Christmas trees for recycling during these dates and times. Monday thru Friday ONLY from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM beginning on 12/27/16 thru 2/3/17. ONE Saturday drop off will be available on 1/28/17 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Please be aware this is for Christmas trees ONLY. Trees must be free of all wire, lights, rope, ornaments and tinsel. PLEASE no flocked trees. MONDAY 1/16/17 - CITY CLOSED IN OBSERVANCE OF MARTIN LUTHER KING.

  1. Adult Coed Futsal League Registration Deadline

    Soccer, but in a smaller version. Coed league will play games at the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center on Sundays. Games are 5 vs 5. Smaller roster sizes will make for quicker game and more action in this league.

    Both Recreational and Leisure Leagues! Lafayette Recreation will be offering a Sunday Men’s “C” Recreational league and Wednesday Men’s “C” Leisure ADULT BASKETBALL league. Season consists of an 8 game schedule and includes a post-season tournament. To check on available openings contact the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center at 303-665-0469. No Winter Leisure league.

    Come see what being fit and having fun is all about! JumpBunch is an innovative kid’s sports and fitness program designed to keep children moving and thinking! Sports and Fitness for Parent-Tot (15 mos-36 mos) is specially designed to help toddlers develop hand-eye coordination, balance, fine and gross motor skills and self-confidence! Sports and Fitness for Preschoolers (3-6 years) will introduce the fundamentals of two different sports or fitness games every week in a safe and non-competitive learning environment. Club Jump Bunch (6-12 years) starts with a cardio warm up, followed by the introduction of a different sport each week then ends with some critical thinking games!

  7. Youth Racquetball Lessons

    Learn the fundamentals of RACQUETBALL through this instructional program. Basic skills and rules will be the focus, along with light competition through games. Each participant must supply eye protection and racquet. These group lessons will include instruction for both beginner and intermediate levels, depending on interest. Maximum four players per group. Minimum two players per group. Ages 9-15.
