    City of Lafayette's Eighth Annual Martin Luther King, Jr.March for Peace and Celebration Monday, January 21, 2013 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Join hundreds of community members as they celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the City of Lafayette’s 8th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. March for Peace and Celebration on Monday, January 21, 2013.Planned by the Lafayette Youth Advisory Committee in partnership with the University of Colorado's Public Achievement program, the event will commence with a March for Peace at the northwest corner of W. Waneka Parkway and Public Road at 12:00 p.m. (Community members are encouraged to arrive by 11:45 a.m.; the first 200 community members to arrive will receive a free event t-shirt!) Community members will reconvene at Escuela Bilingue Pioneer (101 E. Baseline) at 12:30 p.m. for an afternoon celebration, featuring free refreshments, live entertainment, poetry, and a keynote by local Hip-Hop artist and educator Molina
