  13. Candy Land Tour

    You don't need any chutes or ladders to get you to Denver's sweet spots. Presented by Denver History Tours, this special Valentine's Tour is five hours long and will show you that there are more to sweet things than chocolate. We'll start with a tour of Hammond's Candies and then sample some bakeries, spice shops and other spots to tempt your palette. More gastronomy than history, this tour will fill your senses with delight. There will be an hour for lunch on your own in the middle, so you can have something more filling than candy. Be sure to bring money to spend in the sweet stops along the way. Bus leaves from Lafayette GO Center - please arrive 15 minutes early so we may depart on time.     Join JAX navigation team for a 3/4 mile walk around Echo Lake while learning to read a basic topographical map. Learn basic compass features and how to utilize the map with a compass. Utilize the map and compass to navigate even when the trail is covered with snow. Transportation, map and compass included.
