Lafayette Art Center - Call for Entries The Lafayette Art Center is looking for artists for their 15th Annual Community Show, October 2-30. Categories include: Dry Media, Wet Media, Dimensional, Photography and Digital Arts, Mixed Media and Lafayette Heritage. Registration deadline is September 25th.
2010 Art on the Street Unveiled The Public Art Committee has unveiled 12 new sculptures along Public Road in downtown Lafayette. The sculptures, part of the Art on the Street program, are the largest sculpture on loan program in Boulder County.
The 12 participants of the 2010 Art on the Street were chosen from a pool of over 50 sculptures from all over the United States. This year's selected artists include artists from Lafayette and other towns in Colorado, Texas, Wisconsin, Oregon and Pennsylvania.
Art on the Street Sculptures for Sale Be the first to own an Art on the Street Sculpture! All sculptures currently located on S. Public Road are for sale to the public. Prices vary and include a 25% donation to the Public Art Committee for future projects. Contact Susan Booker for details.
