Labor Day

In celebration of Labor Day, the Library will be closed on Sunday, September 6 and Monday, September 7. The Library will reopen on Tuesday, September 8 at 10am.

Upcoming Annual Book Sale: Volunteers and Donations needed!

Book Sale

The annual Friends of the Lafayette Library book sale is coming up on Saturday, September 19! Of course you should come shop the great deals...but why not get involved as well?

Did you know that money from the sale is the primary funding source for our Summer Reading Program? This summer we gave away 5,500 free books as reading prizes to kids from the money made from the book sale! All proceeds earned by the Friends year-round support adult, teen, and kids' programs.

1. Volunteer! We need people before, during, and after the sale! Do as much or as little as you can! Check out the link below for details on how to sign up, or call Susan at 303-661-1178.Update: We need strong people to help with boxes after the sale ends, 4-6 on Saturday 19th!
