New in 2018, unaffiliated voters are eligible to participate in the June Primary Election
Unaffiliated voters (sometimes referred to as “independent” voters) are permitted to vote in the June 26, 2018 Primary Election, but they can only vote in one party’s primary. Voters who have not indicated a party ballot preference will receive two ballots in the mail, one for Democratic Party races and one for Republican Party races. They may vote and return only one of the ballots. If a voter marks and returns more than one party’s ballot, none of their votes will be counted.
If you know which party’s ballot you would like to vote - you can pick your preference now. This will save time, taxpayer money and trees!
