The following openings are available to registered voters who have lived in Lafayette for at least one year;

Historic Preservation Board (HPB)
The HPB reviews and refers nominations for historic landmark designation to the City Council and promotes historic preservation through a variety of programs. The Board is looking for dedicated residents who have a genuine interest in the history of Lafayette. To be considered, interested residents are invited to submit a completed application, letter of interest, and resume.
Energy Sustainability Advisory Committee (LESAC)
Applications are being accepted through February 8. LESAC was established to provide advice and direction for the city on matters related to energy sustainability. The committee’s Master Plan outlines objectives for the reduction of the overall environmental footprint of the city of Lafayette and its residents. To be considered, interested Lafayette residents are invited to submit a completed application, letter of interest, and resume. Positions are open until filled.
Waste Reduction Advisory Committee (WRAC)
Open WRAC positions, with four-year terms, will promote the committee's values to the community and advise the City Council on related matters. WRAC is looking for dedicated residents who have a passion for recycling, reuse, and zero-waste. Interested residents are encouraged to submit an application. Positions are open until filled.
