[ARCHIVED] Fly Me to the Moon: The Apollo 11 Lunar Landing, Saturday, July 12, 11 am - 1pm

The Apollo 11 Lunar Landing for the Generations that Missed It (And the One that Loved It).

Human history's greatest combined achievement in science, engineering, imagination, and even bravery . . . and your preschooler thru college graduate (or even you) missed it! Join this interactive, entertaining, educational, and just plain fun re-enactment of the day the earth stood still as it watched humans walk on the moon. 3-D modeling, NASA video, hands-on activities, and dramatic performance will place attendees of all ages inside the Houston Space Center press room on July 20, 1969, and recreate the awe and amazement of the event that concluded the space race of the 60s and realized a dream bridging both cultures and time.

Presented by Richard Blake. Location: Meeting Room (Lower Level)
