[ARCHIVED] Mulch program not available in 2014

Emerald Ash Borer_penny_thumb.jpg

Due to the federal Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) quarantine in Boulder County, the City's annual mulch program will not be offered in 2014. This quarantine prohibits moving any ash tree products or hardwood firewood outside of the county. Because the final destination of the mulch cannot be controlled, the program will not be offered. EAB larvae can survive underneath the bark of ash wood, and when moved from one place to another, the pest can be relocated to a new area.

Follow the link below for assistance identifying, managing and reporting EAB problems.
