    Learn the fundamentals of RACQUETBALL through this instructional program. Basic skills and rules will be the focus, along with light competition through games. Each participant must supply eye protection and racquet. These group lessons will include instruction for both beginner and intermediate levels, depending on interest. Maximum four players per group. Minimum two players per group. Ages 9-15. Session runs 2/27-4/10.

  2. Youth Karate

    This great class is the best youth KARATE bargain in the Lafayette area! Instructor Jim Kaus has been teaching at the Bob Burger Recreation Center for over 20 years. The beginner class will teach basic fundamentals of the Shudokan style while the intermediate class will advance to more experienced areas including belt training. Ages 5+.

  3. Youth Weight Training

    Designed to teach the basics in fitness, this class includes: free weights, Nautilus and cardiovascular machines as well as weight room etiquette and safety. The Recreation Center will waive the policy of 15 and older age limit for this class. Maximum of 5 participants. Participants successfully completing this class may use the Weight Room Mon.-Fri. from 4-5PM only. Ages 12+.

  4. Racquetball Lessons

    February 28, 2017, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Bob L. Burger Recreation Center

    This instructional program will be held in the racquetball courts at the Recreation Center. Whether you're a first-timer interested in learning the fundamentals, or a seasoned player needing a refresher lesson, this program is for you. Eye protection and racquet must be supplied by the participant. Maximum of four players per group, minimum of 2.
