The group meets monthly in order to: Make recommendations to City Council on ways to improve inclusivity and diversity in the City of Lafayette; facilitate community conversations on issues and/or occurrences of division and conflict in the City of Lafayette, and to make recommendations for ways to resolve and eliminate these; research, study and make recommendations to City Council and staff regarding federal, state or local government actions that may have an effect on diversity and inclusiveness in the City of Lafayette.
