Lafayette Youth Poetry Prize

Named in honor of the poet Michael Adams, the Michael Adams Poetry Prize aims to cultivate and inspire poetry while celebrating Lafayette’s commitment to community arts. Art on the Street 2018 - Closed
This call is now closed. Art on the Street is the largest sculpture on loan program in Boulder County. 20 works will be selected; artists will each receive a $750 honorarium for a one installation, with additional $100 for artists who live more than 250 miles away. Sculpture must be available for one year, with installation the first week of April 20176. All sculptures are for sale in this year long, outdoor art display. Artworks on are eligible for the $1000 Jean Mellblom People's Choice Award or the $250 People’s Choice Award.
City Gallery Walls
Call for Artists! The Lafayette Cultural Resources Division is looking for artists and arts organizations to display their work on city gallery walls for 2-month long exhibitions through 2018. The City of Lafayette has three facilities with beautiful gallery walls to display artwork on a rotating basis: Senior Center, City Hall and Lafayette Library. 24 artists or artist collaborations will have the opportunity for an exhibition each year. Individuals or organizations may apply for a grant to support arts or culture-related projects within the community.
