Plans are being developed for a mixed use building complex located on 10 acres north of City Hall, along City Center Circle and South Public Rd. The plan is to create a project with 90% residential and 10% commercial, which will include approximately 200 multi-family units and 16,640 square feet of commercial space.
The project will enhance Lafayette’s small-town character by creating an in-fill development providing accessibility to employment centers, downtown commercial shopping and dining, and transit service routes. Proposed amenities for the City Center project include a pocket park, clubhouse, outdoor pool, community garden, shared outdoor patios, and approximately 3 acres of open areas. Trail connections and a multi-modal path connection to the RTD park-n-ride are planned.
