How Friends Help

The Friends support and help fund programs that enrich the Lafayette Library and your personal library experience.

  • We share our love of literacy by offering low-cost to book lovers of all ages. We sort, stock, and edit the books for a first class shopping experience.
  • We offer books for sale at the Good Samaritan Emergency Room, with our “Friends Book Cart”
  • We rent storage space and store the donated books until the sales
  • We set up and support our annual book sales
  • We offer grant support to the Library
  • We host a Holiday Tea as a community-building event for all ages
  • We meet the second Tuesday of each month, 6 - 8 pm in Library 2nd floor Conference Room. Come and be a part of our endeavors.
