Whether kids are just beginning, or teens have some experience, our workshops offer a variety of software and hardware topics. We even offer workshops for adults! Check back often for new listings.

Hackerspace Updates

  1. Hackerspace is on break during August and September, as the library prepares for major changes in lending and borrowing systems.

Hackerspace is a free tech workshop series that gets folks of all ages excited about using technology to create cool things.

Whether kids are just beginning, or teens have some experience, our workshops offer a variety of software and hardware topics. We even offer workshops for adults!

Check back in October for changes to our Hackerspace workshops.

Hackerspace is:

  • an informal, mentored tech drop in for folks of all ages who want to develop their programming skills (not a place to play games and/or surf the Internet).
  • a time to code and develop programs and programming skills with others who are passionate about programming.
  • a place for mentor programmers to help with your questions. Limited laptops available on a first-come, first-served basis, for those who don't have one.
  • an introduction to new programming challenges, languages, and techniques.
